The FOP urges all members, and their families, to contact the office of the Mayor to ensure they are aware of the dangers that will be faced by the citizens of Newark, as well as the Police Officers that work the streets of the city, if the city continues on its course of laying off 167 Officers. This issue concerns all Newark officers and their families. That Officer with 12 years on the job is not in danger of being laid off, but you are in danger of working an alpha car...

Congrats to Lodge 30's newest members. Sue Stephenson and James Goldstein.  Both were promoted to the rank of Sergeant on August 7th.  Sgt. Stephenson will be assigned to day shift and Sgt. Goldstein will be assigned to evening shift.  Good luck to both.

The Monmouth County Superior Officers Fraternal Order of Police will once again be conducting its Annual Fund Drive Starting on 4/15/2010 and ending 11/15/2010. It will be a telephonic Fundraiser.  Please email info@fop30.com for details or to contribute.  

Congratulations to James Oldham and Eric Halle on their recent promotions to the rank of Sergeant.  Sergeant Oldham has served the department for 15 years and Sergeant Halle has served for 9 years.  Sergeant Halle will be assigned to the 6-2 shift and Sergeant Oldham will be assigned to the 2-10 shift.
